Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm infants birthweight < 1500 grams

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: thoracic malformations perinatal pneumothorax, severe pleural effusions

Assoziation of a lung ultrasound score (LUSS) with the need for surfactant therapy (one or multiple doses Generating of ROC curves of the Lungs ultrasound score to determine the need for surfactant therapy

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Association of LUSS 2h after first surfactant with need for repetitive doses - Association of LUSS with the need for invasive ventilation, CPAP, noninvasive ventilation - Comparison of LUSS at 2h of life (+/- 30min) postnatal day 3, 7 (+/- 1 day), after that weekly between infants that develop bronchopulmonary dysplasia versus infants without
