Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Indication for surgical treatment of a duplex kidney - surgical treatment of a duplex kidney at the centre between 1994 and 2017 - Age < 18 years at surgery - Consent to follow-up examination

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age > 18 years at surgery - no duplex kidney present - No surgical treatment of the duplex kidney

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
postoperative outcome measured by 1) rate of re-operations 2) rate of recurrent urinary tract infections 3) renal function 4) radiologically confirmed urinary transport disorders 5) quality of life according to EQ-5D

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Description of baseline data as well as frequencies and frequency distributions of certain pathologies and surgical procedures in our study population - Description of the long-term postoperative outcome in our study population
