Group 1: 2 times a week strength training of approx. 40 minutes (3 sets of 8-12 repetitions each, leg press, chest press, lat pull, rowing, shoulder press and knee bend)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Voluntary participation and consent - Understanding of the nature, scope, significance and consequences (full legal capacity) - no regular strength training - regular sports activity (= 3 hrs/week)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - intake of perception-altering substances and/or painkillers - acute injuries or serious diseases (cardiovascular/pulmonary/renal dysfunction, neurological/psychological diseases, advanced degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, incompletely healed sports injuries) that affect the quality of life and/or physical performance - Pregnancy/nursing period
