Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participant has to be a current resident of one of the shared living arrangements as defined in part eight of the German Social Security Code (SGB VIII) Infants age had to be 7 months or younger Mother speaks German on a sufficient level

Exclusion criteria: Acute substance abuse Acute psychosis Suicidale tendencies

| Maternal sensitivity in the interaction with the child measured by the 'sensitivity' subscale of the Emotional Availability Scale (EAS) at the end of the 6-months intervention. The 10-minutes videotapes are coded by blind and certified raters. | — |

| Secondary endpoints are maternal psychopathological symptoms, measured by the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (M.I.N.I., after 6 months), postpartal depression, measured by the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (after 6 months), maternal refelctive functioning, measured by the Parental Reflective Functioning Questionaire (after 3 and 6 months), structural mental impairment (Inventory of Personality Organization-16, after 6 months), mental stability (Symptom Checklist-K-19, after 6 months), as well as parental stress (Parental Stress Inventory, after 3 and 6 months), child's development (development test ET-6-6-R, after 6 months) and mother-child attachment (Strange Situation Procedure, after 6 months and Parental Bonding Questionair, after 6 months). | — |
