Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The planned sample size of n=50 refers to patients. Moreover there wil be interviews with n=10 experts and n=10 general practicioners. In the first study part a sample of n=500 German resident will complete an anonymous survey. General inclusion criteria: given capacity of consent, min. level B1 skills of the German language General exlusion criteria: state of health does not allow participation Non-User Inclusion criteria: residents of Germany, no experience with SCA, >18yo SCA-user / patients: Inclusion: residents of Germany, experience with SCA, >18yo

Primary

MeasureTime frame
In the current study a hypothesis-generating explorative approach will be used, therefore the derivation of concrete outcomes is part of this project. Derivation of recommendations for the usage symptom checker apps.

The following aims can already be definied: -acquisition of risks and need of change on the micro, meso and macro level, considering the different players of the German health system -acquisition of the rate of usage of symptom checker applications in Germany - derivation of predictors for the usage, that potential result in disadvantages for population groups of German residents -acquisition of changes in the doctor-patient relationship, derivation of requirements -acquisition of changes in the self and disease concepts of patients, derivation of requirements - acquisition of changes on a systemic and contextual level
