Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Circulating tumor DNA can be detected in blood plasma of patients with thyroid cancer. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 2. Detection of somatic mutations in blood plasma of patients with thyroid cancer via next generation sequencing is possible and reliable. 3. ctDNA-levels correlate with tumor burden. 4. Measurement of ctDNA-levels in the course of the disease correlates with radiological and clinical tumor response 5. An increase in ctDNA levels or reocurrence of ctDNA levels can predict tumor progress. | — |
