Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with established pre-eclampsia according to national Guidelines and healthy controls with planed cesarean delivery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: acute Inflammation/infection of the mother or fetus, fetal abnormalities, autoimmune diseases of the mother or coronary disease, hypertonia or diabetes outside of the pregnancy, pregnancy associated conditions other than pre-eclampsia (e.g. diabetes, placenta praevia), non-singleton pregnancy.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
activation of thrombocytes in pripheral blood samples, which are taken before the cesarean and analysed directly. Activation of placental inflammasome in placental biopsies done after the cesarean section with immediate Analysis.
