Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who come for the first time into the sleep laboratory with indication for a diagnostic polysomnographic investigation (Level 4 of the treatment Guidelines) and patients who come for the first time into the sleep laboratory with confirmed OSA diagnosis and indication for immediate sleep apnoea therapy onset.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. To identify patients in which the cardiac performance is reduced with increasing therapy pressure 2. To identify patients in which the cardiac Performance is enhanced with increasing therapy pressure 3. To identify patients in which increasing pressure does not affect hemodynamic parameters at all

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To identify patients in which the cardiac performance is reduced with increasing therapy pressure beneath the lower level of the nomal value range 2. To identify patients in which the cardiac Performance is enhanced with increasing therapy pressure and raises from critical hemdonyamic values beneath the lower Level of the normal value range into the normal value range 3. To identify patients in which hemodynamic values are always beneath the lower level of normal value range indepedend from the therapy pressure value
