| The primary objective of the study is to measure muscle mass. For this purpose, muscle thickness of the m. rectus femoris is determined with ultrasound while total body muscle mass is estimated by means of multifrequency bioelectrical impedance analysis. The measurements are PRE, MID and POST. In order to control the factors for muscle maintenance, the participants keep a daily diet, training and sleep diary. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| At the secondary level, contractile characteristics of m. rectus femoris are recorded equally PRE, MID and POST by means of myoton and tensiomyography. In addition, measurements of sleep quality (Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index, questionnaire) and the emotional state (German version of the Profile of Mood States, questionnaire) are carried out. | — |
