Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - known COPD with respiratory insufficiency and already initiated NIV therapy for at least 3 months - Signed declaration of consent - Patient age = 18 years - Last exacerbation of COPD defined by the current GOLD guideline more than 3 months ago

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patient age < 18 years - Mental retardation - Missing declaration of consent
