Interventions

Group 1: A blood sample is taken by venipuncture and the medical history of the study participants is recorded. The studyparticipants have to come to the clinic only once.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female, aged 18-90 years (both inclusive); 2. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes; For healthy study participants: 1. Male or female, aged 18-90 years (both inclusive)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any disorder, except for conditions associated with diabetes, which in the investigator’s opinion might jeopardise subject’s safety or results. For healthy study participants: 1. Diabetes mellitus or known conditions that affect glucagon concentration like Roux-en-Y-Gastric bypass, vagotomy or renal failure.

The aim of the study was to determine fasting glucagon values ??of individuals with type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes in comparison to healthy study participants.

Comparison of two glucagon analysis methods in healthy people and in individuals with type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes.
