Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - of legal age - TIA, stroke, or myocardial infarction at least 3 months and at most 5 years ago - TIA, stroke, or myocardial infarction less than 5 days ago for the other study group

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - non-German speaking - patients who have had a psychiatric disorder, e.g., depression, anxiety disorder, PTSD or psychosis, before ictus

MeasureTime frame
I. To clarify the role of sociodemographic and anamnestic data in the development of chronic PTSD in patients having experienced a myocardial infarction, TIA or stroke. II. To answer the question of how high the chronic PTSD prevalence in patients having experienced a myocardial infarction, TIA or stroke is and which group differences arise. III. To clarify whether there is a connection between the severity of the disease and the occurrence of chronic PTSD in patients having experienced a myocardial infarction, TIA or stroke. IV. Clarify the question of whether there are group differences in relation to anxiety-depression disorder, dissociative symptoms, coping and quality of life among patients having experienced a myocardial infarction, TIA or stroke. V. Clarify the question of whether there are group differences with regard to PTSD-like symptoms, anxiety depression, dissociative symptoms, coping and quality of life among MI, TIA and stroke patients in the acute phase a few days after the event..
