Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Signed informed consent - Clinical indication for electroconvulsive therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Acute or chronic severe neurological disorder apart of epilepsy; - Acute or chronic severe systems disease; - dementia; - Organic affective disorder; - Substance abuse apart of nicotine; - Lack of insight to treatment and study or forced hospitalization as of laws of lower-saxonia for the mentally ill (§1906 BGB)
