Interventions

Group 1: Patients with COVID-19 infection undergo diagnosis for pulmonary embolism and/or deep vein thrombosis.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: •written informed consent •naso-pharyngeal swap SARS-CoV-2 PCR positiv or clinical high suspicion of COVID-19 infection •Elevated D-Dimer concentration of > 10µg/l*age (starting at 50 years, in younger patients the cut-off is 500 µg/l) and dyspnoea and/or a O2-saturation <92% •indication for in-patient treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Age < 18 years • Allergy to contrast agent • Renal insufficiency with a GFR < 40 (ml/min/1,73 m2) • Pregnancy • Pulmonary embolism and/or deep vein thrombosis in the last six months • Hyperthyreosis
