Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Biopsy-proven primary glomerulonephritis or no prior renal disease (healthy controls). Able to consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of chronic gastrointestinal diseases, signs of acute infection, diabetes mellitus, end-stage renal disease, or intake of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) during the last 48 hours prior to the study as well as pregnant and breast-feeding patients
