Interventions

Group 1: The cerebrospinal fluid of patients with a continuous drainage of cerebrospinal fluid due to increased intracranial pressure will be analyzed with a blood-gas analyzer on a regular Basis.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Presence of continuous lumbar or external ventricular Drainage of cerebrospinal fluid; signed Agreement to participate

Exclusion criteria: None

Accuracy of lactate and Glucose measurements by a blood-gas-analyzer in cerebrospinal fluid as compared to the neurochemical diagnostic standard.
