Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subacute and chronic stroke patients (ischemia or hemorrhage); Age above 18 years; Ability to give informed consent and to follow instructions; Ability to walk more than 10 m with or without a supporting device; Ability to tolerate electrical stimulation; Ability to raise the foot from the ground (> 1 cm); Ability to communicate the request to stop the training session; Visible reaction to stimulation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Epilepsia; Lack of compliance; Heart pace maker; Severe heart or lung diseases; Skin lesions in the area where the electrode is positioned; Other neurological diseases, unless the patient had no neurological deficits from previous strokes; Pregnancy; Electrostimulation is only used with the express consent of the specialist;
