Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient meets the criteria: - Obesity as main diagnostic (BMI= 30) and - the costs for the 4-week rehabilitation stay are already agreed to be covered by sponsors 2. The patient agreed on taking part in the study and signed the statement of participation 3. The score of at least one of the following scales assessing psychological health is increased: - WHO-5<13, ADS-K=18, HADS-D each score=10

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Serious psychiatric disease (e.g. patients with suicide risk, severe eating disorder, traumatic experience) • Serious somatic disease (e.g. carcinoma, status or patients who had liver transplant), that influenced the prognosis of the patiens more then the metabolic disease • Patients with only limited German knowledge (particularly in written form)
