Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - 40 patients with psoriasis and pain and/or swelling and/or movement restrictions in the finger joints - 40 healthy volunteers without psoriasis/ psoriatic arthritis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age < 18 years - Insufficient communication skills in the German language or lack of understanding of the German language - (Functional) Illiteracy - Lack or absence of the patient's ability to consent

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Read-out parameter of this study should be the rate of MSOT findings positive for PsA compared to the diagnosis of a rheumatologist.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Sum of pixels in the region of interest (ROI) of the signals of oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin - Blood flow intensity as measured with the quantified amount of the optoacoustic signal.
