Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - > 70 years - sporty-inactive - Dementia criteria: Mild cognitive impairment, stage 1-2 dementia (MMSE 10-24) - normal blood pressure - move independently with a walking aid - physically able to carry out an exercise program (anamnesis questionnaire)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Contraindicators (serious cardiovascular diseases such as cardiac arrhythmias, lung diseases, renal insufficiency, etc.) - from dementia stage 3 - not completing the pre-examination - < 70% presence during the exercise program - severe motor impairment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Creation of a manual with training guidelines for the support of in-patient nurses in daycare. This will be done with the recording of each intervention unit. During the intervention period, a questionnaire is used weekly to record motivation and mood before and after the units, the Dementia Mood Picture Test (DMPT) modified. Cognitive skills: Measurement procedure: - CERAD-NP - trail-making test Motor skills Measurement procedure - gait analysis - balance test - Case-rod test - Hand dynamometer - Chair Rising Test Quality of Life - recording through an external evaluation questionnaire Nurses`Observation Scale for Geriatric Patients (NOSGERII) Review of primary endpoints before, after 12-week and after the 24-week intervention.
