Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Collection of mechanical measurement data on the measurement phantom using leukotape, kinesiotape and orthoses to quantify the stabilisation effect. The 4 different types of orthoses are first put on by the examiner and tested with the aid of an apparatus. This is followed by measurements using leukotape and kinesiotape, which are applied by 17 different therapists. The procedure for the examination is then as follows: - The subject fills out the questionnaire and is informed about the course of the examination - Application of the leucotape bandage by the test person - testing of plantar flexion and dorsal extension by the examiner - Change of machine by the examiner - Testing in eversion and inversion by the examiner - Application of the kinesiotape by the test person - Testing in eversion and inversion by the examiner - Change of machine by the examiner - Testing in plantar flexion and dorsal extension Due to possible measurement errors, for all stabilisation measures per direction of movement 5 passes are performed, each pass containing 6 movement amplitudes.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Therapeutic variance of the applied tapes.
