Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Key Inclusion Criteria: BDI-II scores > 13, PHQ-9 overall score < 20, score on BDI-II suicidality item < 2, score on PHQ-9 suicidality item < 2
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Schizophrenia, schizotypal and delusional disorders (F20-F29), Patients with acute manic episode, Sucidal participants

| Measurement of Change: MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENTS: Depression: Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and Beck Depression Inventory - II (BDI-II); Anxiety: Generalized Anxiety Disorder - 7 (GAD-7); General Self-Efficacy: General Self-Efficacy Scale (GPSE); Social Support: Berlin Social Support Scales (BSSS), subscales perceived, available support and support seeking; Participation: Index zur Messung von Einschränkungen der Teilhabe (IMET); Well-being: EUROHIS-QOL Quality of Life Index. MEASUREMENT OCCASIONS: Arm 1: before the intervention, immediately after the intervention, and 3, 6 and 12 months after the intervention. Arm 2: before the intervention, after the waiting period, immediately after the intervention, and 3, 6 and 12 months after the intervention. The PHQ-9 is additionally assessed prior to each module. Variables that are used as moderators and/or mediators for process-oriented research questions: MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENTS: Stress: Stress module of the Patient Health Questionnaire-S (PHQ-S); Illness Perception: Illness Perception Questionnaire-Revised (IPQ-R); Values: Portrait Value Questionnaire (PVQ); mechanisms of change: Multiperspective Assessment of General Change Mechanisms in Psychotherapy (SACIP). Therapy expectations: Patient questionnaire on therapy expectations and therapy evaluation (PATHEV) and the credibility subscale from the Credibility and Expectation Questionnaire (CEQ). MEASUREMENT OCCASIONS: The IPQ-R, the PATHEV + CEQ and the PVQ are assessed pre-intervention and in arm 2 additionally after the waiting period. The SEWIP is assessed during the intervention before M3, before M5, and after the intervention. The COSTA is recorded before the intervention, before M3, before M5, immediately after the intervention, and 3, 6 and 12 months after the intervention.
