Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The main target criterion is to determine the influence of an initial lip dysfunction on the skeletal advancement of the mandible. After achieving the desired advancement with a stable Angle Class I occlusion in the molar region and a physiological overjet of approx. 2mm, the treatment is stated as successfully completed. The initially prepared documents (models, cephalometric radiograph, orthopantomogram, extra- and intraoral photos) are prepared and evaluated again. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The secondary target criterion is to record the time (in months) in which a stable Angle Class I occlusion is achieved in the molar region. The endpoint ist the same as for the primary Outcome. | — |
