Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pancreatic mass on imaging suspicious of pancreatic cancer, clinical indication for histology sampling, absence of contraindications for EUS FNA, age >18 years, patient's informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, uncorrectable coagulopathy, MD-IPMN, age <18 years, repeated biopsy with unclear results of first biopsy, no patient's informed consent

MeasureTime frame
Success in tissue extraction is defined by the amount of cells for cytological/histological examination and its explanatory power for evaluation and furthermore the quality/stability of the tissue plugs, which is reflected by the possibility to examine – potentially malign – cell structures.
