Group 1: As part of the routine diagnostics in our endoprosthetic consultation, if a prosthesis infection (knee TEP or hip TEP) is suspected, the blood is first taken to determine the infection values

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with suspected periprosthetic Joint infection after total hip arthroplsaty or total Joint arthroplasty

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Criteria for exclusion were patients with systematic inflammation such as rheumatoid arthritis, surgery within the last 3 weeks or a history of hypercoagulation disorder.
