Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The aim of the study is to collect a comprehensive national register, in which data can be viewed transparently and from which conclusions can be drawn for treatment optimization of patients undergoing cataract surgery. The collection and evaluation of data during cataract surgery is done by means of documentation forms. These documentation forms include the recording of: 1) preoperative examination (visual acuity, eye and general diseases), 2) surgery (type of surgery, anesthesia, type of lens, therapy recommendation) and 3) postoperative follow-up (ophthalmologic findings). In postoperative follow-up, data is collected from three different appointments in the period from the first postoperative day to 10 weeks after surgery.

Secondary
