Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The implementation of the offers is evaluated in a mixed-methods approach. Quantitative (cross-sectional, longitudinal) and qualitative methods (guideline interviews, focus groups, participatory photomapping) as well as a social network analysis will be carried out. Behaviour-related measures lasting several weeks are evaluated within the framework of a pre-post survey (T0: beginning of the respective measure; T1: end of the respective measure). They are offered anonymously as "paper-pencil surveys" or as anonymous online surveys (pedometer competition). The short measures are evaluated anonymously as a "paper pencil survey" following each of the measures and is directed at the participating employees. It serves to survey the acceptance and evaluation of the respective measures. Three anonymous employee surveys will be carried out as online surveys across all measures. Main Outcomes: German version of the EHIS-PAQ (Finger et al., 2015), Question on physical activity from the DEGS1 study (Gößwald, Lange, Kamtsiuris, & Kurth, 2012) Questionnaire on physical activity-related health literacy (Sudeck & Pfeifer, 2016) Addendum (Feb. 2021): The implementation of the offers will continue to be evaluated in a mixed-methods approach. Quantitative (cross-section only) and qualitative methods (guideline interviews, focus groups, participatory photomapping) as well as a social network analysis will be carried out. Behavioural-related measures lasting several weeks will be evaluated at the end of the respective measure. They are offered - depending on the pandemic situation - anonymously as a "paper-pencil survey" or as an anonymous online survey (pedometer competition and online courses)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Qualitative methods and a social network analysis are used for the evaluation (levels: behavioural-related and environmental prevention). The target group of the qualitative evaluations are on the one hand the movement providers, network partners and company representatives involved in the project. At the end of the project, they will be asked retrospectively about the added value of their participation in the project, the support factors and barriers to the implementation of the physical activity neighbourhood and the acceptance and use of the multi-component intervention. Data will be collected by means of semi-structured interviews in the form of individual surveys (movement providers and network partners) and focus group discussions (company representatives). In addition, the method of participative photomapping is used at the beginning and end of the implementation of measures. The target group of the method are employees who are asked to take pictures with their smartphones of places they associate with movement. The collection of the location-related photos is done via an online survey. In order to answer the research questions, the set of methods will continue to be supplemented by a Social Network Analysis (SNA) during the implementation and evaluation phase. The SNA as a method in KomRüBer aims in particular at the relational orientation and, besides the individual level (micro level), essentially examines the relations between the actors, i.e. the relational level (meso level) in which the actors are embedded. The SNA in KomRüBer focuses on the participating organisations in accordance with the focus on enterprises: Companies that form the physical neighbourhood, physical activity-oriented actors and other network partners. Addendum (Feb. 2021): In addition to the quantitative surveys, guideline interviews with employees will be conducted with the aim of investigating and determining knowledge about the existence and content of the multi-component
