Interventions

Group 1: Patients with advanced Fuchs' endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD) recieve an endothelial corneal transplantation. Graft attachment will be assessed two weeks after surgery.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with planned DMEK

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Corneal pathologic features other than Fuchs' dystrophy or bullous keratopathy; previous inflammation of the anterior segment; previous anterior segment surgery except uncomplicated phacoemulsification with posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation
