Exclusion criteria: 1. large carious lesions; 2. tooth with complex restoration; 3. enamel defects that would have affected the mesiodistal morphology of tooth crown shape or volume anomalies; 4. presence of temporary prostheses 5. presence of systemic pathologies that give rise to complications in the oral cavity (e.g. celiac disease, leukaemia)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The accuracy of the Connector band measurement between upper central incisors; between central incisor and lateral incisor to the right and left of the arch; between lateral incisor and canine to the right and left of the arch. Therefore, whenever there are no dark spaces or diastemas between two teeth, with the space filled by the gingival papilla, the area of the connecting spaces will be delimited by the papillary tips and the contact points. The connector band is thus obtained by using the papillary line and the contact point line as reference.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Measurements taken on digital models and traditional models: - Height and width of upper central incisors - Height and width of upper lateral incisors
