Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Infected non-union of the distal tibia, osteosynthesis with either external fixation or intramedullary nail with temporary arthrodesis of the ankle and subtalar joint

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Ankle empyema - Other operative techniques (e.g. plate osteosynthesis)
