Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient age > or = 18 years, clinical diagnosis of peripheral facial palsy, patient consent to participate in the study an to analyse pseudonymised data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Present contraindications for LP (i.e. clinical signs of raised intracranial pressure like headache, nausea/vomitus, reduced vigilance, pupillomotory disorder and/or coagulation disorder like thrombocytopenia < 50.000/µl, abnormal PTT, Quick/INR, intake of oral anticoagulation, heparin therapy)
