Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with MRI suspected subdural / epidural empyema with planned surgical removal. Written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: no informed consent possible, pregnant patients

rate of postoperative complications, revision surgery within 90 days, meningitis, wound healing disorders
