Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - the patient is at least 18 years old - written consent by the patient - primary or secondary cox-, gon- or omarthrosis - planned implantation of an endoprosthesis (hip, shoulder or knee) - approval for surgery by the orthopedist and anesthetist

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - oncological disease - immunosupression - rheumatic disease - infections (systemic or in the treated area) - chronic pain - dysfunctions of the joints caused by neurological disease - pregnancy or lactation period - patient can't undergo the surgery

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in postoperative pain intensity measured by the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS, 0–10) during the inpatient period.
