Group 1: Observation study: All patients receive the same therapy (systematic periodontitis therapy), patients with periodontitis are interviewed before and directly after active periodontitis therapy

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Initial diagnosis: periodontitis (EFP 2018), informed and written consent, age = 18 years, complete documentation of all dental and periodontal findings parameters
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Missing consent, less than 18 years of age, diagnosis other than those mentioned in the inclusion criteria, incompleteness of the findings mentioned in the inclusion criteria.
