Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis: untreated geographic atrophy secondary to advanced AMD - reliable assessment of the fundus (sufficiently clear refractive media)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: serious systemic diseases that hinder clinical examinations

MeasureTime frame
The aim of the study is to observe the natural progress of geographic atrophy secondary to advanced dry AMD in the largest possible cohort of patients. Our focus here is on observing the progression of the disease over months and years. On the basis of this data, therapy recommendations can be worked out in the future or risk factors can be reduced in a specific manner.

Progression of the disease - patients with various underlying diseases and ophthalmological secondary diagnoses are included in order to work out possible correlations of various influencing factors
