Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Prisoners of the old-age-divisions of the prisions in Rheinbach and Detmold, Germany; male gender; age: 50 years and older; German as native language or sufficient language skills to actively participate in the cognitive training program as well as in the neuropsychological examinations; good or sufficiently corrected vision and hearing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Physical impairment or illness that precludes study participation (e.g., bedriddenness, blindness, deafness); Cognitive impairment to the extent of dementia (operationalized via the DemTect = 8 points; Kalbe et al., 2004); known intellectual disability
