Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male or female, =40 years old, therapy naïve, suspicious to lung cancer or other lung disease, sufficient knowledge of German, willingness to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known infectious diseases (HIV, HCV, HBV), advanced, curatively-treated cancer within last 5 years, past diagnosed lung cancer

MeasureTime frame
The aim is to evaluate a novel, miRNA-based method for the improvement of the diagnosis of lung cancer in a cohort of patients who suffer from lung diseases.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Identification of microRNA biomarker for safe and successful therapy and identification of microRNA biomarkers for relapse monitoring.
