18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Age between 18–60 years • Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes • HbA1c > 8% during screening • Patients who have their own mobile phones and ability to use a mobile phone; • No chronic complications associated with incapacity • Willing to use Whatsapp messaging service
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Pregnancy • Type 1 diabetes • Any condition that will impair smartphone use
