Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: postmenopausal female patients suffering from distal radius fractures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: younger patients who are not in postmenopausal or male patients

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Difference of fracture healing process after 6 weeks of surgical intervention with k-wireing and estrogen treatment or no treatment (placebo Group) was measured with pQCT.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Controlling of blood samples and measurement of estrogen blood levels after four and six weeks of surgical intervention.
