Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: postmenopausal female patients suffering from distal radius fractures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: younger patients who are not in postmenopausal or male patients

Difference of fracture healing process after 6 weeks of surgical intervention with k-wireing and estrogen treatment or no treatment (placebo Group) was measured with pQCT.	—
