Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All German Hospital which are willing to follow the study procedures are welcome to participate in ISO-ADE. Units which can not participate because of their specialisation are summarized in exclusion criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Following Units can not be included: intensive care unit, pediatrics, HEENT; ophtalomogy, psychiatric, gynecologic, oncologic, hematologic. Hospitals which have the intervention bundle already established as a standard operation procedure.

Comparison of the overall incidence of MRSA/VRE in the interventional and the observational study period.

Compliance of Hand Hygiene, incidence of infection with MRSA/VRE, prevalence of MRSA/VRE in newly admitted patients, Depression score of patients with and without contact precautions
