Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: primary or vascular dementia; mild to moderate dementia (MMSE: 10-24); walking ability (10m); clearance from general practitioner
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: secondary dementia, other severe diseases (e.g. other neurological/psychiatric diseases, severe motor impairments, severe acute diseases)

| Balance: FICSIT-InCoPE A (tailored demands), FICSIT-InCoPE B (A + motor dual task), Groningen Meander Walking Test; Mobility & Gait: instrumented gait analysis (GAITRite, single and dual task (counting backwards)), 6m Walk Test, 4m Walk Test, Timed Up & Go Test-InCoPE A (implementation close to everyday life), Timed Up & Go Test-InCoPE B (sensor-based assessment); Lower limb strength: modified 30s Chair Stand Test-InCoPE (signal supported), Lower Limb Strength-InCoPE (dynamometer + visualizations), Foot Dorsal Flexor; Examination of the primary outcomes at baseline and after the intervention over 18 weeks. Before investigating the effectiveness, motor assessments tailored to individuals with dementia are developed and examined in a reliability/feasibility study. Based on the results of this study, the above-mentioned assessment pool will be reduced with the aim of using those motor assessments that meet psychometric properties and are most appropriate for individuals with dementia. The reliability/feasibility study is planned to be carried out at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020. The final selection of motor assessments can only take place afterwards. | — |
