Group 1: Database queries of the Herniamed Register and the Hospital Information System (HIS) (OPS: 5-530.7
OPS: 5-530.72) identify all cases with Re-TEP after an initial TEP or TAPP in the investigation period. All patients who meet the inclusion criteria are contacted by telephone and informed of the stud

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: adult persons 18 years and older, regardless of gender, all patients who have undergone Re-TEP after an initial TEP or TAPP, Cases from January 2012 to February 2019

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients younger than 18 years, Cases outside the period from January 2012 to February 2019. Patients with insufficient knowledge of German, Patients with primary inguinal hernia Refusal to participate in the study
