Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Male or female patient 50-80 years • Patients suspicious to lung carcinoma (NSCLC) stage I and II or patients by whome the malignancy was excluded after resection (control group 2, for example benign lung disease) or patients with a lung disease (control group 3, eg COPD patients) • Sufficient knowledge of German and the willingness to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • known active infectious diseases (HIV, HCV, HBV) • Neoadjuvant therapy or invasive diagnostics • cancer in the last 5 years (except locally treated skin carcinoma - not malignant melanoma or prostate cancer)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Longitudinal analysis of microRNA biomarkers before and after resection of a curatively targeted localized non-small cell lung carcinoma (T1 / T2 / T3-N0-M0)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
