Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Estimation of the AGE/sRAGE-ratio at baseline (T1) and the end (T2) of a 3-week lasting multidisciplinary inpatient rehabilitation. AGEs- and sRAGE-levels will determined by ELISA-technique with serum samples of the patients.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Investigation of routine parameters, peroxides, inflammatoric and oxidative markers (ELISA with serum samples), non invasive AGE measurements with fluorescence in the skin, as well as collection of anthropometric data at baseline (T1) and the end (T2) of the inpatient multidisciplinary rehabilitation.
