Interventions

Group 1: Intervention A: intermittent prism adaptation therapy. Patients wear prism goggles for 10 minutes while making visually guided reaching movements. Then, the prisms are removed for 10 minutes

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - at least 18 years of age - left-sited neglect after right hemispheric lesion - sufficient capacity to participate for at least 30 minutes - abilitiy to be mobilized into the wheelchair for at least 80% of planned therapy sessions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - known dementia - normal pressure hydrocephalus - capacity to be mobilized into wheelchair for less than 80% of plannes therapy sessions

To treat 12 patients for the two intervention groups (6 per group) with the combined prism adaptation treatment. There are four measurement timepoints: T1: day 1 of the recruitment T2: 3 days after (to prevent influences of retest effects) T3: one day after the first intervention (day 25) T4: one day after the second intervention (day 46) The following measures are used: Neuropsychology (measurements) - Clock Drawing Test - Line Bisection Task - Apples Cancellation Task - Text reading Activities of daily living (questionnaires) - early rehabilitation barthel index - functional independence measure - body orientation	—
