Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Examination of pulmonary microbiome in ARDS (directly after onset and intubation) compared to lung healthy patients by Next Generation Sequencing

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Investigation of changes in the microbiome in correlation with clinically relevant complications. - Evaluation of the prognostic significance of microbial analysis. - Correlation between pathogen diagnosis via NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) and culture based.
