Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Residents of the nursing homes St. Pantaleon, Christinenstift Degrees of care 1-5 Dement and non-dement Written Consent to study participation by residents or their legal representatives*. At least 4 remaining teeth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe acute life-threatening illness or condition compatible with an expected early death. PZR not possible at start of study due to health or dementia situation Already at the beginning of the study foreseeable loss of the remaining dentition due to already diagnosed inflammations/loosenings Toothless jaw Diabetes mellitus with HbA1c >7.5 Endocarditis risk with necessary antibiotic shielding against therapeutic interventions on the teeth Persons who are dependent on or have an employment relationship with the sponsor or investigator
