Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Patients with diagnosed polyneuropathy in diabetes mellitus or prediabetes. • Patients who are present at the time of enrollment at diagnosis or follow up on polyneuropathy. • Written consent to study participation is available. • Age = 18 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Neuropathies that are, in the opinion of the physician,non-diabetes related. • Patients with confirmed other painful illnesses that focus on non-neuropathic complaints (eg, spinal disorders, orthopedic or rheumatologic diseases). • Patients with existing consumptive diseases or in a palliative situation. • Participation or planned participation in an interventional study on neuropathy or neuropathic pain at the time of inclusion.
