Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: People affected by skin picking, aged 16 to 65. Skin picking should result in significant impairment regarding working, managing the household or interacting with other people during the past four weeks. Participants should have the technical resources needed for working with the online self-help program.

| Before, during and after participation in the self-help program, participants complete questionnaires sent by e-mail. The first assessment will be completed just before the start of the self-help program. Subsequently, the participants get their log-in data for the self-help program. 2, 10 and 12 weeks after the beginning of the self-help program, they will complete the following questionnaires. The first assessments contains socio-demographic questions, a short screenings for skin picking, the German version of Skin Picking Scale (mSPS-D), the German version of Skin Picking Impact Scale (SPIS-D), the Skin Picking Reward Scale (SPRS), the German version of Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS-D), a questionnaire about resources and self-management ability (Ferus) as well as self-adjusted scales for change motivation and self-efficacy in relation to skin picking and participants' expectations of the self-help program. The second and third assessment include questions about their process in the self-help program, mSPS-D, SPIS-D, Ferus, self-adjusted scales for motivation to change and self-efficacy in relation to skin picking and expectations regarding participation in the self-help program. The final assessment contains questions about the process status of the self-help program, all contents from the first assessment (minus socio demographic questions) and 12 additional questions for the evaluation of the self-help program. | — |

| Six months after receiving the log-in data and the start of the self-help program, the participants will be sent another questionnaire. This questionnaire contains all the questions from the first questionnaire, apart from socio-demographic information. In addition participants are asked, up to which chapter they worked with the self-help program. | — |
