Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Working a shift schedule (rotating shifts of regular working times after 10 p.m. / before 6 a.m.) - subjective sleep issues

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - acute suicidality (determined in the pre-measurement via the corresponding item in the BDI-II) - psychotic conditions (clinical impression)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of sleep efficiencies (percentage of time in bed, that is subjectively filled with sleep) in the weeks immediately before the first and after the last of 4 counselling contacts. Measurement via sleep diaries.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of pre- and post-measurements using psychometric self-report scales (BDI-II for symptoms of depression, RIS for symptoms of insomnia, ESS for daytime sleepiness)
